Let's meet our guest, Jeremy Bishop. Jeremy, how are you doing today? I'm doing great. Appreciate you having me here. I am the founder of the company Influencer Club. We work hands on with a lot of high level entrepreneurs and we help our members build a really strong world class personal brand

on social media. Having a very strong personal brand, I can tell you, I think it's done wonders for us, as, you know, for Cut the Tie myself, but it's not an easy thing to do. Give me the hook. Give me the why people work with you. What's your kind of power statement? Slow and steady does not win this race. A lot of people kind of invest a little bit of money and a little bit of time over a long period of time, and they never have this massive breakthrough.

So if you've watched anyone who just starts to magically show up on your feed overnight, those people made a decision. And if you look at it like a chart, the minute that they start to have some increase in their brand, opportunity, growth, and their business is doing well, they put all the fuel on the fire. They go all in on the brand. And, yes, when people come to us, that's kind of that pivotal point. They've already built a pretty big business, and now they wanna really catch things up to speed with their name online. Give me an example, like, your one of your best use cases. Yeah. I mean, some of our guys, as an example, two years ago, hardly any social media presence whatsoever. And these guys have gone from no social media to two years later. They've done over a hundred podcast. They have a 200,000 followers. You know, if you would ask them two years ago if they thought that was possible for themselves, a % the answer was no. Right? I mean, they were just working on how can I, you know, post a little better or maybe I could have a bigger following? I don't even know if I deserve that or not. And you ask somebody, well, what's your business track record? What have you done in real life? And when they tell you something extraordinary, I've been in my industry ten, twenty plus years. Some of our guys, they do $20.40, 50 million in production every year. I mean, they're absolute superstars. Some of our guys do a billion a year in production, and they had 500 followers when I met them. And so I have a saying in my company, which is we don't wanna make bad people more popular. And what I mean is we're looking for individuals that have worked their asses off, and now they're looking to to really catch up and kinda kinda get the recognition, the name, and get in that spotlight as they kinda deserve to be. You know, our mission is to help people cut ties to things that hold them back. But in your own journey, what's kind of the biggest tie you had to cut to build your own business? The biggest tie I had to cut to build my own business was when my wife looked at me and she said, you know, we work really hard to help all of our members and our clients, but you need to be a freaking superstar just as much as anyone that we help. And so it was decision that, you know what? I want to grow my brand 10 times as big and give people a place to be excited about getting to versus this kind of self talk or this conversation you hear with business owners. You know, I don't need any of that. I have success. You know, I've made the money. But the reality is that most people would really actually enjoy and love tapping into some of those extra special opportunities that come along with with building their name and growing their brand. And it's and it will increase the business as well. It's your moment is realizing you have to build your own like, kinda walk the walk. Yeah. And it's funny because I cut that tie. That's after I had already been doing those things. I mean, early twenties, I learned from a mentor. This guy helped Grant Cardone, Patrick Bet David, Damon John, Kevin O'Leary, helped these guys grow a massive 1,000,000 plus followers. I learned that process, invested in myself. I was speaking on stages that maybe I should not have been on at that stage in my career, things of that nature. So I'd already tapped into what this was going to do for me and built the business for the next few years, but there still was where it was the cut the time moment where I had to realize only person who was ever going to tell you this is probably you. I deserve to have the next level of whatever I think my brand can do, whatever my business can do. Do you remember the moment and how you felt? Yeah. I remember sitting in a specific apartment. And at that time, just to put it in perspective for a number, you know, I maybe had fifty, sixty, 70, 80 thousand followers, and I just had never made that decision. I didn't cut that tie of I'm gonna outperform myself, my clients, and everybody that I'm helping, and then inspire them to come along for an even bigger journey and a bigger ride. And what's the impact been since identifying what the tie was to cut? There's a journey that happens after you start doing that. The impact is the difference between living in a state where you're solving, like, really small problems for many, many, many years to going to a much bigger place where everything is better at a higher level. Thinking becomes more fun. The people you work with become more fun when everyone is focused and building and going towards a much, much bigger mission. And so if you can serve people and show them how to get a really special end result in business, they're going to love you forever. You are going to be happy about it because you're solving big problems, creating big impact. Of course, business comes along with all of that. But, yeah, I hope that gives you a little bit of an idea there. When you get focused on something, right, and you realize why you focused on it, which is the tie and the impact in the moment, people around you get more behind you as well because they know where you wanna go and they sign up for that. Take it a lesson for the listeners. What's the you know, sum up the advice you'd give anybody who's interested in building a personal brand for themselves. Yeah. I would say, first, identify what end result would be really special or sexy that you could get from your whole personal brand right now. It might just be some more clients. It might just be a little more impact or brand awareness. Figure that out and be really clear about what it is. Okay? Because likes, views, none of that stuff is a real quality end result at the end of the day. You want something actually tangible. It's going to affect your life and your business. If you can figure that out, start there. Then do what you can do depending on where you are in in the business. So if you're you're in the early stages of a business and you don't have a ton of capital and revenue, great. Get hands on. Before I had a management team, you better believe I was the person sending hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of messages from my social to develop relationships, connections, leads, possible speaking events, all of these things. Then I developed a team to do it for me. Then we developed partnerships with influencers to grow a hundred thousand followers in in six months instead of in ten years. So do what you can do with where you are currently in the business. And so when you go and test like, test big. It's the biggest mistake as people say, well, I've been doing this a little bit, and it hasn't done much for me. And it's like, yeah. That's what 90% of all people do, a
5
0,06:52,000 --> 0,07:20,000
whole bunch of random stuff. Sounds like you just gotta commit and go all in on it to see it through. And if you do, well, you'll learn something from that. It works or it doesn't. You're good at it. You're not something in between. How do you keep the fake followers? Because those really can wreck accounts. The reason I say that is because every day we're you know, you just solicited left and right for downloads views. And how do you recommend someone to make sure they're not getting taken for just bots? Well, I always tell somebody, I can't speak on behalf of what anyone else does in the industry. Do not answer the random
6
0,07:20,000 --> 0,10:07,000
DM from the person that doesn't have results. Right? You've gotta kind of find somebody who has built up an undeniable stack of proof, just like anything in business. Either way, there's this really kind of, like, walking on eggshells with people where, you know, they're so scared to do something wrong. A lot of them not do anything in regards to massive growth. And so my recommendation would be find someone who has a track record and has gone big and invest in those. How How about some rapid fires? Who gives you inspiration? My biggest mentor in life was my grandfather. Rest in peace. He just passed away recently and he taught me a lot about business communication, then taught me about how to actually deal with business relationships. If you find a special way that you can go and make money in the marketplace, don't get so concerned about the shiny objects left and right. Focus on building a skill set and then go as big as you possibly can in that one space. You know, there's a lot of basic, well rounded advice that you know, anybody could give you that figure out what your specific problem is today and solve it. Wherever you are at today, I promise, you, Thomas, myself, at some point, we were sitting on our couch with no team, no website, no company, no this, no that, whatever that scenario looks like for you, and you just had to figure out what what you were gonna get accomplished today and move forward. Yeah. That's right. You know, you're spot on. Yeah. You have a favorite book? You think it's, like, a must read? I think you should get creative if you open a book to any page and it inspires you. That's my way of knowing that I'm going to enjoy it and take something from it, whether it's, fiction, nonfiction. Of course, there are tons of business development books out there and stories that you can find. And my 19 to early twenties, we spent a lot of time around people like Bob Proctor, Jim Rohn, you know, learning from these kind of greats, personal development and mindset. Bob Proctor was someone who helped me create real strength and fortitude around how great I told myself I was, you know, before anything had transpired. So if there is any advice there, yeah, go find some of those guys, whoever kind of clicks with you and and listen to them and work on that. Who should get a hold of you and where should they do that? It's thinking about, you know, growing their name and wants to have a conversation about that simple conversation. All of these, you know, other members, individuals, men, women, dads, moms, young people in the momentum of their career that have gone through this process already. And, you can book a call with our team from there, and we'd love to speak with you, of course. And, yeah, my Instagram as well. That's where I would say. What's your website address? The link is super long, so I'm not even gonna try and say it. But if you wanna go to influencerclubmedia.com, that that's our website. And then I think I've provided you with a page with just tons of examples that give everybody a lot of visuals, and hopefully, they can kinda take something away from that. You can start at influencerclubmedia.com.
